Getting older takes a village.
Memory care pioneers build a replica 1950s town, challenging Alzheimer’s care norms while families desperately await a breakthrough.
Scott Tarde, CEO of Glenner Memory Care Centers, has an ambitious vision: Town Square, a meticulously crafted 1950s replica town designed to spark memories in people living with dementia. As Scott navigates financial hurdles and construction setbacks, the film follows the families grappling with the daily realities of memory loss — and when Town Square finally opens to media fanfare, everyone discovers that effective care takes more than a nostalgic setting. What emerges is a portrait of hope, adaptation, and the quiet resilience of caregivers facing new challenges every day.
