‘Salvation Has No Name’ is a 17 minute cinematic folk tale that acts as a political allegory, exploring prevalent themes of xenophobia and the refugee crisis.

The film produced by Delaval Film and Exec Produced by Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams. It stars Itziar Ituño from Netflix’s Money Heist and Yasmine Al Massri from ABC’s Quantico. The film is co-produced by Autour de Minuit in France and Animation People in Czech Republic and funded by the BFI, France Televisions, CNC and the Czech Film Commission. The short had its world premiere at the 2022 Edinburgh Film Festival where the refugee organisation Choose Love was announced as the film’s official charity partner. The film had its North American premiere at Rhode Island Film Festival. Salvation won the Grand Prix and Best Director at Animage festival in Brazil, was awarded the Grand Prix at Animario in Madrid, Best Animated Film at the River Film Festival in Italy and received the Young Jury Award at Mecal in Spain. The film was long-listed for both a BIFA and a BAFTA and received the Jury Special Mention at the Unifrance Short Film Awards at Cannes 2023. It was released online by Short of the Week and received a Vimeo Staff Pick.
