38th European Film Awards

General

Participating in the 38th European Film Awards implies the unconditional acceptance of the Terms & Conditions, and of the Regulations for the European Film Awards.

The submitter/rights-holder warrants to hold the rights in and to the submitted film (including the rights in and to the music contained therein) pursuant to the conditions of the European Film Awards.

The submitter/rights-holder confirms and guarantees that all entered information and material provided in connection with the European Film Awards is correct.
The submitter/rights-holder agrees that the uploaded film file, material, and information entered/uploaded will be stored on Amazon Web Service Cloud Storage and solely made available for the pre-selection, nomination, and awards committees/juries on the European Film Awards Entries Platform which is powered by BAFTA Nucleus (for more information on the security measures please see here). Should a film be selected or nominated the team of the European Film Academy and European Film Academy Productions will receive access to the European Film Awards Entries Platform to prepare the European Film Awards.

In case of a nomination or selection, the respective film will migrate to the Academy VOD Platform, operated by Vimeo OTT, and remain available for viewing to the members of the European Film Academy until shortly after the awards ceremony (for more information on the security measures of the Academy VOD Platform please see here).

The European Film Academy does not warrant that the functions contained in the material contained in the viewing platforms will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that these sites or the server that makes them available are free of viruses or bugs or will display the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the material. The European Film Academy cannot be held liable for errors, defects, viruses, bugs, delays in uploading or transmission.

The European Film Academy does not assume any responsibility for any unauthorised use of the film.

By submitting the entry form, the submitter/rights-holder accepts and agrees to the payment of a submission fee of € 90 subject to VAT per film submission (or of an early bird discounted rate of € 75) and in case of selection or nomination in addition a single fee of € 800 subject to VAT per film (both not applying for the short film category). The fees will be charged by the European Film Academy.

Privacy Policy
The submitter/rights-holder accepts the European Film Academy’s Privacy policy.

PR material 

The submitter/rights-holder confirms and guarantees that all PR material provided in connection with the European Film Awards is free to be used for any print and online publication (incl. press releases, the European Film Academy’s websites, viewing and voting platforms, as well as social media channels). The Academy’s marketing and communication office reserves the right to make – among the provided texts, images and clips – a final selection based on the editorial project; texts may be edited, shortened and/or modified according to the editorial project and for the sake of the consistency
