  • 31 October 2025: Nominations announcement for the European Short Film -Prix Vimeo category. 
  • 18 November 2025: Live announcement from Seville for the nominations in the following categories EUROPEAN FILM, ANIMATED FEATURE FILM, DIRECTOR, SCREENWRITER, ACTRESS, ACTOR, DOCUMENTARY, DISCOVERY – Prix FIPRESCI and YOUNG AUDIENCE. 
  • 26 November 2025: Nominations announcement for the chapter categories: EUROPEAN CINEMATOGRAPHER, COMPOSER (ORIGINAL SCORE), COSTUME DESIGNER, EDITOR, MAKE-UP & HAIR ARTIST, PRODUCTION DESIGNER, SOUND DESIGNER, and the newly introduced CASTING DIRECTOR.

  • Use the official hashtag: #europeanfilmawards and #europeancinema
  • Tag the European Film Academy on social media: Instagram / Facebook / LinkedIn
  • Post your nomination visual (provided individually) and according to the corresponding nomination. See examples below.

You are explicitly obliged to mention that the film is part of the nominations 2026 by downloading and using the provided logo below in all kinds of future promotion, credits, advertising, press and publications related to the shortlisted film. Kindly refer to the logo manual:
