Synopsis

A rainy Sunday afternoon in February: a woman, Anna, comes back to the home she has lived in for three years, with the man she has just taken to the airport and who has left her. The house - which faithfully renders the personality of a writer on the verge of Nobel Prize who works with a very sophisticated computer - is the setting for a story which unfolds like a veritable parable of abandonment, in which the female protagonist tries to understand why their love has come to an end. The initial vehemence with which she uses the telephone in trying to seize from friends some useful scrap that might throw light on the drama she is living, changes into a sort of obscure stupor when, with the computer, she manages to gain access to a private sector that opens up a universe which was formerly inaccessible for her. This is the thrust towards new intuitions, it is almost a slow vortex that takes her back into the past, to the beginningof this finished love story. A lens through which the blocks and empty spaces, the cadences, the rites and the joys go well beyondthe personal story of Anna and Emilio.
