Synopsis

France, 1980. An ex horsemeat butcher is fighting for survival. Having abandoned his autistic daughter, he moves to Lille with his pregnant mistress, hoping to rebuild a new life for himself. He doesn't love her and hates life in his mother-in-law's apartment. His hopes soon turn into bitterness, and bitterness into obsession. Violence explodes. He goes back to Parisand tries to start a new life again. He is counting on his lucky star to help him find a new job and new friends. But both are hard to come by. Here, like everywhere else, living is a selfish act. Penniless, with a gun loaded with three bullets as his sole companion, only one thing spurs him on: vengeance.
