Synopsis

Following the world-wide hit PADDINGTON, the most successful non-US studio family film of all time, the much-anticipated sequel finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in London, where he has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief, who appears to be a master of disguise …

Director's Biography

Paul is a BAFTA® nominated writer/director who works across both film and television.
He directed all three series of THE MIGHTY BOOSH; earning him a BAFTA® nomination for ‘Best Director’ in 2004.
In 2009 Paul wrote and directed his first feature BUNNY AND THE BULL, starring Simon Farnaby and Simon Hogg. He then directed David Walliams and Matt Lucas’ mockumentary COME FLY WITH ME, which was nominated for a number of awards including a BAFTA® for ‘Best Comedy’ and a British Comedy Award for ‘Best Sketch Show’.
Paul then went onto co-write and direct PADDINGTON which has received both critical and commercial success world-wide. His nominations include BAFTA® for ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’ and ‘Best British Film’.
