Synopsis

Life of a Russian family in a small village after World War II.
The fate of a beautiful woman trapped by tragic circumstances who has to work hard as tractor driver to support her son and the invalid husband who came home from the front without legs.
Humor, love for the characters and sadness for the time and people gone make this film a special event in modern Russian cinema.

Director's Biography

MARINA RAZBEZHKINA, film director, graduated from Kazan University, Philology Faculty, in 1971. Since 1989 she is scriptwriter and film director, member of Cinema Workers Union of Russia, participant and prize winner at International and all Russia Film Festivals. Permanent residence is in Moscow.
