In the south of Spain, a race of colourfully painted pigeons, will reward not the one who flies the fastest, but the one who will have known how to seduce a female pigeon, and to fly the longest time at its sides.
Born in Orihuela (Spain) in 1982, Elena López Riera is a co-founder of the collective "Lacasinegra", which made the feature film PAS A GENEVE (2014), among others. Her first short film, PUEBLO was screened at the Directors' Fortnight in 2015. Her last work, LAS VISCERAS, had its world-premiere at the Locarno Film Festival's Pardo di domani competition.
