LE PLUS BEL AGE

Synopsis

Synopsis

The suicide of an outstanding student during the initiation period causes a passionate investigation and love affairs in a prep class for the renowned "École Normale Supérieure". A fortnight after her entry into the prep class of a Parisian secondary school, Delphine, 17 years old, is the only witness of Claude's - a second-year student - suicide. The case is quickly hushed up and the girl's volatile temperament is used as the official explanation. But for Delphine, who is in a state of shock, this explanation is inadequate. She feels guilty of having been privy to the desperate act of the older, brighter student. The names "Axel & Claude", carved in a desk, lead her to the dead girl's lover, who, in the course of a perverse deal, reveals to her the real reasons for Claude's death.
