The Road to God Knows Where

Ireland

Synopsis

THE ROAD TO GOD KNOWS WHERE is a deeply personal portrait of Irish young people in the 1980s. Shot throughout Ireland and in London and New York, the film features Irish young people as outsiders: outside of religion, outside of politics, outside of history. It is a bleak, disturbing but emotional look at a country both physically and mentally depressed, highlighting the total powerlessness of Irish young people to affect any change in their own country.
