The Crossroad

Poperechnaya Street is a small cross-street in Riga. The film portrays the hopes and fears, joys and sorrows of the inhabitants of this small community which is like a mirror of the world outside, reflecting the tensions between the dawning of a new era and the imprisonment within rural structures.
