Life is not easy for 11-year-old Allan. Only when dad is happy, everyone is happy; and this means when dad is holding moving funeral speeches that prompt synchronous crying among the mourners. But when the small community goes through a long period with no deaths, Allan's father becomes severely depressed. So Allan must intervene and ensure that his father is kept happy with the right number of funerals....
