Synopsis

Synopsis

Allowing both the victims and the offenders to speak of their experience, the film tells the story of a force-labour camp — one of the darkest chapters in Hungary's recent past. The film's extraordinary insight stems from the fact that one of its directors, Geza Boszormenyi, was himself a prisoner in Recsk from 1950 to 1953.
