Rauf

Synopsis

RAUF is the story of searching under the shade of a war and tough nature conditions , at the age of 11, Rauf finds himself in a big platonic love, in an effort to delight the girl whom he love in a world which loses the colour even in the daylight. Pink is the hue of our story, loves that are dreamed to be experienced, sleeps that are waken up with tranquality, fraternity and amity. Therefore, Rauf seeks ‘pink’ everywhere.

Director's Biography

BARIŞ KAYA Barış, who graduated from the Cinema & Television Department of Eskişehir University, worked for the production companies PTT and Creavidi. He directed lots of TV adverts. Some of them were deemed worthy of a Crystal Apple Award. After this award, he worked as the second director on the feature film NEFES and as producer for AYHAN HANIM. SONER CANER After he received training in plastic technologies, Soner has worked for set conception and practice, art directing and plastic make-up since 2001. In 2003, he undertook the make-ups of 'Sultans of the Dance", the most important dance organization in Turkey; the art director of the films MESSENGER, directed by Çağan Irmak, BREATH and AYHAN HANIM, directed by Levent Semerci and lots of TV series. He took the best art director award at the Golden Boll FF for BREATH. His first scenario COLOUR OF THE SHADOW received support by the Ministry of Culture. His second scenario is HARAP.
