Synopsis

Synopsis

Based on an old Lapp legend, the tale takes place a thousand years ago in the icy, snowbound regions of what is now northeastern Norway. Little Aigin is witness to the murder of his parents and his sister. The raiders find him too, but the severely wounded boy manages to escape to a Lapp camp. Blinded with revenge by the murder of his family, Aigin drives three friends to their death and in the end becomes a traitor to the very people who risked their lives to save him when he was left alone and injured.
