Synopsis

When the older brother is killed by his favourite horse, the younger one has to decide – through nightmares and visions, whether to avenge the blood or forgive.

Statement of the director

"I dreamt of death before my brother’s wedding, blood on snow – if I don’t forget, I’ll become the animal myself."

Together with dear collaborators, we set out to explore the depths of brotherly love; at times stifled by archetypal roles and violence, at others tender, fragile, and transparent. Somewhere in between, one question remains: revenge or forgiveness?
