Synopsis

Magnus Bertelsson, 45, lawyer and department head of the city administration of Reykjavik, is jolted out of his normal, everyday life by shocking news: he has cancer. He begins to take stock of his past and to think about himself, his life and and his family. The very ordinary life of his family, their day-to-day existence, their joys, their adventures and their trivialities continue on as usual, while Magnus' fate runs its course.
