Synopsis

1920 : The second round of Europe's collective suicide, of which only the deciding match has yet to be fought, has been over for two years now, France, with a quarter of its territory destroyed, is licking its wounds in a flurry of festive activity set against the enormous construction sites of her reconstruction. Survivors from all over are bustling about, working relentlessly in order to forget the nightmare of the last four years, which they manage to do. In this chaotic atmosphere, two young women who come from very different social backgrounds and who do not know each other are pursuing the same goal : to find the man they love and who has disappeared in the turmoil.
