Hana-Bi

A poignant reflection on love, violence, grief and loss, in which Sonatine director Takeshi Kitano focuses on a tough ex-cop (played by the director under his acting alias of Beat Takeshi) tying up the loose ends of his life and taking his terminally ill wife on a farewell journey.
