Synopsis

The 1970s: Already before Marija is born it is clear that she will be a Person getting into trouble all the time. When Marija turns five, Santa Claus brings her a doll she doesn’t like, and also a lady-bird crawls into her ear. However, that’s not all. The most important thing is that she is often alongside firemen.
Is it because things around her catch fire?

Biography

Laila Pakalnina was born in in Liepaja, Latvia, and graduated in 1986 from the Department of TV Journalism of the Moscow University as well as in 1991 from the Department of Film Direction of the Moscow Film Institute (VGIK). Her award-winning work includes various short films, documentaries and feature films.
