Synopsis

For the couple in DAD, love in later life is still passionate. Their son though, now reaching middle age, has problems. Unlike his parents, he has no outlet for his sexual yearnings and while he hears his mother orgasm next door his own desires are far from fulfilled.

Biography

Daniel Mulloy studied fine art in London and New York, graduating in 2001. His first film, DANCE FLOOR, won many accolades, including a BAFTA Cymru for best newcomer. Mulloy's second short, SISTER, released in 2005, won another BAFTA and a slew of awards, including the ARTE Grand Prix in Hamburg and the Tamashi Award in Tokyo. ANTONIO'S BREAKFAST premiered in Sundance in 2006 and has gained over a dozen awards at international festivals, including Mulloy’s third BAFTA win for Best Short Film. He completed DAD in 2006. It has been shortlisted for Sundance and won awards in Brest, Sapporo, Ourense, Silver Lake, Krakow and Oberhausen.
